The IWADV has manned a booth at this event for many years. It is a long day - about a dozen club members and their dogs meet & greet the public, answer questions, give out flyers and information packets, and generally promote understanding of our breed. This is primarily a spectator event, with a large number of the general public attending. Much work has to go into the preparation of the booth - display materials and decorations have to be worked on every year. Awards are given by Lehigh Valley KC for the best booths, emphasizing the quality of the education aspects of a clubs presentation. The room is very full - and every year clubs are turned away due to space. |
